I'm from Virginia, I was traveling out of state and happened to get pulled over for lane change without signal. I was detained and charged with felony concealed weapons and a marijuana, I was completely stressed and worried my case until I found Mr. Alexander Funk. From the first review I read I knew he was the best best choice and boy was I right . Mr. Funk at preliminary had got the judge to drop the gun charge and I recieved a 500 fine. A wonderful job done. This law office needs a new receptionist. I called asking if they handled traffic violations and Lauran, rather than answering the question immediately transferred me to voicemail of the paralegal. I wasnt even treated like a person, I was treated like a problem. I called back and she continued to give me attitude, and rather than apologize or correct her mistake she treated me with more contempt.

Mr. Funk is a miracle worker! Just when i thought my sons life was over Mr. Funk used his skills and got an excellent plea agreement. The experience we had with him and his paralegal Kristy was very smooth. They are really down to earth people and would recommend his firm to anyone out there who feels they are really screwed! Would highly recommend Mr. Funk. He has represented me on 2 different occasions and is definitely an Excellent Attorney that has helped me out of some situations. Both times he was very Professional and he always made me feel less stressed and what he said we could get is what he got me and was always straight forward with me about what he was thinking. His Paralegal Kristy is fast with responding to Emails and very good with Communication. I had no doubts that this time around I wanted Mr. Funk to represent me he was the first and only call I made. Alex and his team are the most empathetic and educated team of individuals I have seen. Not being from Delaware when my husband got in trouble I didn't know what to do. He had 21 felony charges some violent. I was told by other attorneys that he was going to get life. End of the day my husband got 1 yr and probation. Alex looks at every case with such detail to pull apart what the police have done illegally. Alex is very professional and so educated and talented. His assistant Kristy has the patience of a Saint. I'm not the easiest to deal with and she always got back to me and when needed she put me in my place and I'm so grateful. I trust this firm with any case. And his fee was the best. My daughter got in trouble, so I called first thing in the morning to retain a lawyer. The receptionist transferred me to the voicemail of Alexander Funk. Never receiving a call back; I called back at 4:00 pm. The receptionist then informed me he was on vacation till the end of the month. Her trial date is prior to the end of the month. The receptionist never asked any questions; and I have never retained a lawyer. Rude, snarky and unhelpful.
