I am writing this to document severe systemic failures, unprofessional legal practices, and judicial oversight that have directly harmed my child and me. Attorney Tara Blakely represented my ex-husband, DeAndre Tinsley, in filing a Protection From Abuse (PFA) order against me—a petition built on false allegations, perjury, and character defamation. In March 2023, Commissioner Gretchen C. Gilchrist of the Family Court of Delaware granted my ex-husband's petition to revoke child support. As a survivor of domestic violence who has survived three distinct instances of severe abuse, stripping this support forced my daughter and me onto public assistance just to meet basic daily needs. Compounding this financial strain, active reports were made to the Delaware State Police (DSP) regarding sexual abuse committed against my daughter between the ages of 7 and 10. Despite concrete evidence and police reports, the legal system allowed procedural maneuvers to revoke critical financial support and prioritize the abuser over the child's basic rights and physical protection. The judicial and legal systems continuously fail child victims and survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. Stripping child support from an abused child while ignoring active police investigations of felony child abuse is not justice. #JusticeForMyDaughter #ChildrensRights #EndAbuse #DelawareFamilyCourt
