California Lawyers Association

The California Lawyers Association (CLA) is a nonprofit, voluntary bar association established in 2018, dedicated to the professional advancement of attorneys practicing in California. Serving thousands of licensed attorneys, CLA acts as a premier statewide voice for the legal community. It advocates on behalf of its members before the Legislature, Judiciary, Executive Branch, and the State Bar of California, which regulates the industry.

CLA is structured into 18 Sections, each focusing on distinct law practice areas, including a dedicated section for new lawyers in their first eight years of practice. These sections allow members to concentrate their time and energy on areas most relevant to their interests and career stage. The association delivers high-quality programs, events, and resources, continuously seeking new ways to expand its offerings.
