We have sent forms AR-11 to change address to address listed in AR-11 instruction. We have prove of delivery from mail service. But Chicago Asylum Office REFUSED to change our address and REFUSED to continue answering emails! Official AR-11 form says: Mail your completed Form AR-11 to: U.S. Department of Homeland Security Citizenship and Immigration Services Attn: Change of Address 1344 Pleasants Drive Harrisonburg, VA 22801 However, 2 months later after sending to this address we got email from Chicago Asylum office saying: The address has NOT been changed. Send the letter changing the address to the address below. Department of Homeland Security USCIS Chicago Asylum Office 181 West Madison Street Official PUBLIC INQUIRY BY EMAIL USCIS policy says: To increase efficiency and to make it easier for the public to contact the Chicago Asylum Office, we have instituted a public mailbox. Inquiries may be made to the office through this public mailbox. You can make inquiries on pending cases, ask questions on procedural matters, or follow-up on correspondence. However, on our further questions we got only one response containing phrase: Please do not send emails to this address. Absolutely non-polite and rude phone support receptionist. I believe everyone is afraid to complain or file lawsuit against this organization. But they violate human rights, making unreasonable delays with work authorizations, do not maintaining basic ethics principles, etc. They hold monopoly for immigration and use their position to behave like a dictator. Do not afraid and research Internet! File mandamus lawsuits, complain to senators! Share your experience publicly! Make these guys do their work instead of getting benefits from their work!

The phone operator was very direspectful. I was just so blown away at how badly she spoke to me on the phone. Never had I ever had something like this happen to me before. I really hope something gets done.

They keep the application for a month. They answer with lies without the clerk's signature. Boss USCIS Chicago does not monitor the complaints department at all. Boss USCIS Chicago: My A 202-162-969. Pull up my August 2023 application. Explain to your clerks that the Court of Appeal is different from the Immigration Court. Conduct a check and respond to my statement.

Today, June 16, 2023 I just had the most personal, kind, caring woman LISTEN, and CARE that the two refugees I am working with get help. These two Afghan young parents need a verdict on their hearing that was 9 months ago. They both have very young children, and the young father has a wife, who got separated and were not allowed on the evacuation planes. This woman told me what the BEST thing I could do to get these parent's voices heard. She was a DECENT HUMAN BEING, in a very busy, messy, poor functioning system. My two friends in MN are extremely grateful to find that someone has heard them. Thank you from each of us.

I cannot believe what I was just exposed to from whomever just answered they're main line. First of all, when the woman answered the phone she was laughing; so right away off the bat she was not professional. Then as I tried to share my question. She immediately cut me off without assisting me at all like I was inconveniencing her. She basically bluntly told me I was calling the wrong place without listeningto me fully, but where she was directing me to was actually the office that directed me directly to her office. Her rudeness had me ask for someone else because she was not even trying to take the time to assist me, or even help me as I myself am confused on who to contact with my questions. This employee had NO CARE IN THE WORLD, and HUNG UP ON ME! I hope that whoever is higher up in that Asylum office is reading this post because we should not be employeeing ANYONE like that in our government offices! Shame on you whoever you are!

Don't even try to call them . They can't answer any of your questions. The only thing they can do is to tell you their fax number and their mail address. Why do they pay these people, they can just download automatic voice messages.
