They took $225 from me, leading me on telling me that my (actual) collections, (which was $83) was what I was paying. I called the manager and they "investigated" it and said that I agreed, knowing that it wasn't paying off my collection. That it incorrect. So then after saying they would give me 2 weeks to pay $120, she, her name was Daniella, black woman, very "nice" ... took it out an hour and a half later. Then a couple days after that, another part of their branch pulled even more money, and said I agreed to get set up for an ADDITIONAL monthly payment. I can't get that money back. I had to report my card stolen, and block them all. Also, they told me more than once, that I would be receiving a receipt via Email ... it's been 1 month and I have never gotten anything from them.

COMPLETELY unprofessional. Some lady called me asking for my name and I said who is this? She said credit control, I said okay but what are you like a loaner or collections agency or something? She said credit control, that's literally the name of our company. I said okay I understand that but what are you and what do you do? She refused to answer and kept demanding my name, and then I asked again what kind of company it was and she got all frustrated and said you know what I'll just call later, you try and have a better day and then hung up. How are you going to call someone and demand their identity but refuse to disclose what your company is or why they're even calling you? Sounds like a scam to me

I went to the address but didn't find any company by that name. I emailed them after receiving a message from them demanding payment of an invoice for which I don't know the reason. I asked them for the original invoice and which company I owe the money to. If it's true, I'll pay them in cash, and they should give me a receipt. But I haven't received a response from them. The police should do their duty. The phone numbers are known, and the P.O. Box number and location are also known. po. Box 120568 NEWPORT NEWS ,VA 23663.1936

Will not send me a letter of verification that they have the right to collect what I owe. Call me once a week saying I owe money after I ask them to stop! They deserve a negative 5 (Five). I told them I'll pay each month what we can afford, I want a bill from them with an envelope before I'll pay and they're not happy about it!

I will be reporting this company to the (BBB) Better Business Bureau, (CFPB) Consumer Finance Protection Bureau, and (FTC) Federal Trade Commission for using the information that they received against me and attempting to collect a debt that they haven't sent any written documentation to support. Additionally, if I need to report them to the (FBI) Federal Bureau of Investigation for fraud, I will. As of today, I still haven't received any written documentation to support them contacting me at all which is a violation of the (FDCPA) Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, and (MDCPA) Maryland Debt Collections Practices Act; which both clearly state that you have to provide written proof verifying and validating that the debt is valid before attempting to collect a debt.
