  Whatever you do stay away from this lawyer. I hired him to do a quick claim deed, during the process he was hard to get in contact with, when I did talk to him he told me my paperwork was lost in the mail. DO NOT HIRE HIM!!!

  I have sold and bought a house that Fariss was the attorney for and he is an upstanding guy. Really enjoyed working with him and he was there late to get one closed even on short notice. He was just a really nice down to earth guy and the process was very easy with him.

  I hear he is a good attorney. The person Who is selling me property with a house on it has used him before, so she is trying to let him do work for her now. But communicating between the two of them has been a problem.. I'm still hoping for the best. And if they can manage to reconnect and this attorney handles the business like the lady said he could and according to her, he said he would take care of the situation, then I will more than happy to give him à better review. Meanwhile I'm living in a barn , waiting on the outcome..

  My experience with this attorney was disappointing. Over what ultimately became a four-year process, communication was minimal and inconsistent. We did not receive regular updates—weekly, monthly, or even annually—and were often required to initiate contact ourselves just to obtain basic information about the status of the case. When we did receive updates, they were frequently accompanied by explanations for delays in the sale of the property. However, several of these explanations were later contradicted or proven inaccurate after we spoke directly with the buyer and the buyer's attorney. Additionally, when we contacted the county courthouse to verify claims regarding filed paperwork—whether on his behalf or the opposing party's—we found that some of those representations were not accurate. When these discrepancies were brought to his attention, there was always an explanation, but the pattern of inconsistencies made the process increasingly frustrating. Based on this experience, we would not choose to work with this attorney again for future matters.
