Delaware Trial Lawyers Association

The Delaware Trial Lawyers Association (DTLA) is a tax-exempt professional membership organization for attorneys. Its members are admitted to practice law in Delaware and represent plaintiffs in personal injury lawsuits, claimants in workers' compensation cases, and defendants in criminal cases. The organization has over 200 attorney members across all three counties in Delaware.

DTLA's mission is to seek justice for all and preserve the constitutional right to a trial by jury, as outlined in the 7th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. The organization aims to ensure that individuals harmed by the wrongdoing of another person or company can seek justice in the Delaware Courts. This objective also includes holding corporations accountable for unsafe products, both to those directly harmed and to society at large. The association supports the Rule of Law.
