Yikes, this place was extremely unorganized, impossible to get ahold of and showed some shady characteristics at the closing. Attempted to cut a check to a contractor who we had no idea who they were. Stated they needed more paperwork to close, delayed the closing and then came back and said. "Oops" we had it all. Do better!

We used Excel Title for our primary home purchase and our investment home purchase. The process was smooth, and they answered all our questions along the way!

Impressively unorganized and borderline deceitful I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Excel Title. First they failed to properly transfer the entire property, the only way it was caught is when I hired a surveyor to identify the property lines, they informed me that I only owned half of the property my house sat on caused unnecessary complications and needed deed corrections. On top of that, they neglected to disclose important deed restrictions, citing that they were "too old" to be found. It wasn't until I inquired about them multiple times that they were able to find them. I would have never known to ask about them if I was not warned by a new neighbor that there are some in the neighborhood that have nothing better to do with their time than sue for violations of the deed restrictions. This is completely unacceptable and irresponsible, as these restrictions directly affect the use of the property. I trusted them to handle the legal aspects of the transaction, but their negligence has caused significant problems. I would strongly advise against using this title company if you want a smooth and professional experience.

As a local real estate agent, a title company that communicates and hits time lines is essential for a smooth transaction and Excel Title always does just that. They allow my buyers to deposit Earnest money electronically making it more convenient for everyone. Thank you Excel Title for always being an asset to my clients and myself!
