I thought my father that is 81 years old would be able to get some help from this group with a probate matter. He was referred to this group because he was told that they help senior citizens that are on a fixed income (only receives social security). This group is a joke! They assigned a lawyer that just wanted to tell my dad what he should do over the phone. Didn't want to meet with him. There is a lot of paperwork involved and my father nor I would know how to fill out the correct forms for probate.

I think these people are a scam. The so called intake application asks questions that have nothing to do with finding an attorney. I was questioned about my living arrangements, if I had health insurance and with what company, what other names do I go by...and they call back from various phone numbers. This is another government program that is BS. After 2calls i still wasn't asked about what I needed help with. DFCS has already compromised my personal information and won't help...and now the Legal Services program wants to know my blood type and doesn't even care about my legal problem.

I am new to Savannah Georgia, and I am a section 8 client. My manager refused to maintain the habitability of my apartment. I needed assistance, so I reached out to Georgia legal services program. Attorney Hamburger guided me through a very stressful time in my life, and assisted me with making decisions that relieved my stress, and help me to end the situation on a positive note. The secretary is also very patient and welcoming. In the end, I received my full security deposit back when I moved out. Thank you Georgia Legal Services Program, I am grateful for the guidance I received.

David Hamburger is an amazing attorney. I recommend him with any landlord/tenant issues. Very professional, patient, reliable. And in that courtroom he is a bombshell. 🤞🏽
