  If you want a competent attorney, Phil is definitely someone you want on your side of the fence. I watched him and someone I know speak about some issues and the amount of intelligence that came from him was astounding. His dedication and attentiveness to her and her concerns were incredible.   If you want a top-notch get-it-done lawyer, Phil is your guy. I watched this man first hand in a court room. For those saying he is impossible to get ahold of, or he wasn't prepared for a hearing I truly find that hard to believe. He's a busy guy with very little free time on his hands away from a court room. I've never seen him show up unprepared, if anything he's always over prepared for whatever could possibly happen in a court room. He's competent and tough. Hard working and dedicated, and incredibly intelligent. Any time someone asks for a lawyer in West Virginia, Phil is the only name I give and the assistants are probably the best dang team he could have standing behind him. If you have patience and trust, call him. You wont be disappointed.

  I required a lawyer in a family court matter and was given Mr. Isner's name. I attended an initial consultation and was impressed with his attentiveness to my needs. Throughout the long and many continuances of my case, Mr. Isner and his office staff were always professional and assured me that my case was still very important to them. At no time did I feel that I or my case was insignificant. I will, if needed, hire Mr. Isner again.

  Was looking for a solid attorney to take my case pretty late in the proceedings after being improperly represented! I contacted numerous attorneys who would not take my case and told me it was too late . Finally I received a call from the Isner firm to set up a consultation with Mr.Isner in which I did , explained my situation and he agreed to take my case . I have to say with the hand we were dealt I greatly appreciate him for getting me the outcome I received. Very Down to earth guy, Knows his stuff !   Isner law charged a consultation fee and assured me he had time to put into my case. I put down a retainer which is higher than I should have. He did almost nothing for my case. He wasn't available for MDT meetings, always had an excuse as to why, didn't not return phone calls or emails but charged for them even when I was just asking why he wasn't responding. His staff are very rude and unhelpful. I have asked for my final bill because I fired him at the hearing before the retainer was used up. That's been over 6 months ago and he has not sent it nor issued a refund or replied at all. The 1 paper he did file was incorrect and had to be redone by another lawyer. He had nothing prepared for court and got me absolutely nothing. He also failed to disclose he was under supervision due to an ethics violation. His supervisors happened to be the opposing parties lawyers. That is a big conflict and should have been disclosed. He takes on too many clients to get their money and then does a bad job at representing them because he can't spend the time needed on each case. There is a wealth of public knowledge about him. Just look him up on the state bar site. I have asked nicely for months for him to give me an answer and refund because I did not want to have to take this public. But apparently he feels he has done nothing wrong and doesnt want to rectify the situation so here we are.

  Phil is an amazing lawyer. He is very dedicated and does whatever he can to get the job done. He has been super dedicated to me and my case from day 1.
