  When my fiancé (at the time... now my husband) and I decided to pursue the long winding road that is permanent resident status in the US, we researched numerous immigration law firms in the Greater Pittsburgh area. After communicating with several law firms (and immigration attorneys), we chose to then contact Mr. Karavias. He graciously took our initial call, listened to our story and the details of what would be our pursuit of permanent residence status and offered honest , no-nonsense advice. Mr. Karavias was forthright, patient, and frank in telling us what we needed to know before we embarked on our long journey. Several months later, we decided to retain Mr. Karavias as our legal representative to guide us and assist us in our travels through the US immigration system. Along the way, Mr. Karavias was communicative (always answered either our phone calls or replied to our emails in a very timely manner), diligent, thorough and detailed in presenting us with his opinions, suggestions and legal advice.   I would highly recommend anyone who is struggling to find a reliable and very organized lawyer to go with Jason! The main thing I loved about him was he was very knowledgeable and no matter how many clients at the same time he has, he still makes sure to have one on one conversations and go over every detail. He made sure to inform us through each step and how it will work and what to expect.
