Tanya is very rude and I'm only writing this review because I see others have had same experience and I concur. Calling a attorney is not always easy and Tanya reminds customers of that right way. The attorneys are great thou and worth going through Tanya to get their service.

Unfortunately, I have had to be in contact with Sean Gilchrist's office due to a divorce and I am blown away by the lack of professionalism from both Sean and his assistant, Lori. No one returns calls, emails, etc. I have been given the run around regarding a $5000 check that was supposed to be paid by their office at the closing of a house sale, July 25th. I have repeatedly heard...'check is in the mail' by my realtor, who was contacted by this office though I am the one that repeatedly reached out to them. Oh...it's now August 8th and still no check!! I am so disgusted by this office's lack of professionalism that I am going to file a complaint with the Montana Judicial Branch pertaining to rules of professional conduct.

Unfortunately, I hired Paula recently, but I would advise against this for anyone else. She is lazy in her preparation and in following up on sending important paperwork, but takes every opportunity to overcharge for needless and useless emails. I will never recommend her.

I sought out Sean Gilchrist from another law firm's reccomendation. I needed advice on divorcing my less than a year marriage due to alcoholism and trying to retain my home & property. Sean was very nice and empathetic.. I met with him once and talked on the phone with him for 15 min. Most of my communication was with Lori the paralegal. She was not so kind and very short never explained what needed to be done in detail, I had to always ask or email which cost $25 each occurance. My divorce was simple in that no kids were involved and we came to a settlement on our own; I had to change from separation( $350) to dissolve marriage(another$625) it amounted to a few word changes.I did not get any details as to what things need to happen, the charges, and that every email and phone conversation had specific charge. My divorce was final august 2 but it was still dragging on until october had to check with DNRC water rights still in my husband's name had to get check# and dates on my own to get it solved. Tanya the receptionist did not get messages relayed properly concerning will and bookeeper message. Felt I could not call with questions because I would get charged for them. Started off well but as Lori took over things dragged on, no explanations, still charging me and didn't receive small amount of retainer back until Nov. 7th was a complete stress on me emotionally and financially this law firm did not have my best interest in mind only their pocket book.

I worked with Sean on a family custody case, and I couldn't be more thankful for his dedication and expertise. His knowledge of Montana law and meticulous attention to detail was instrumental in achieving a positive outcome for my daughter. Sean was honest and upfront from the beginning about the potential outcomes of our case. This transparency allowed us to make informed decisions every step of the way. His strategic approach was not only honest but effective. Throughout the entire process, Sean showed a genuine commitment to advocating for my daughter's best interests. I can't thank him enough for his representation.

Mediocre at best in. Hired Kiersten and they put on a good front to get paid but never felt like they had my back or they put forth much effort for my divorce case. Everything seemed to be rushed and not prepared until maybe the day before court procedungs. They were making negotiations with the other attorney without my knowledge and never told me what it was about. Dont hire if you want anything to go your way.

Their receptionist or paralegal was the least helpful person Ive ever spoken to at a law firm. She said I would need to call cascade county to since my parenting plan is out of their district court. But that is not how it works, as I have had attorneys represent me in Montana from different counties? What an awkward interaction while looking for a professional to retain and represent me. Absolutely no legal etiquette or terminology used either. Yikes.

Their receptionist was absolutely rude and would be better served working at a penitentiary. It's almost laughable. Also beware of their tactics that they are in it to help you mediate a divorce. They only want money and even after spending thousands and thousands on mediating, the signed agreement had all kinds of issues with it and essentially was non enforceable. Then to go back and mediate again their secretary asked for another $5k. I would recommend anyone to find another firm that has more integrity and really strives to do the right thing. It's not about helping families but about price gouging you and what's in it for them. Not a firm I would recommend anyone and I think the reviews speak for themselves.
