I can't say enough great things about Dave. I originally used him for a house purchase which had a few hiccups but he helped me navigate through the process. I called him again to help me purchase a business. He saw through some flaws in the contract and he was able to protect me as the purchaser. It made all the difference in the end. I highly recommend him.

My husband and I had to meet with David on a personal matter. When we spoke to his secretary and right off the bat she made me feel uncomfortable, asked me why I was calling in detail and why I needed a meeting, I almost felt like I wasn't worth her time. I understand she needs to ask some questions to relay the message, but I wasn't getting warm and fuzzy vibes. Day 1 of meeting. His secretary was yelling at another client (he didn't schedule an apt, but he was simply dropping something off for a signature) this woman belittled this man right in front of us (new clients) and there was a little bit of confrontation. Ok - still we didn't want to judge this firm by his secretary, however even my husband was like if you let someone treat your clients like that, it's not a good sign. We met with David, and he was nice, and reassured us he can come up with a solution. A month went by, mind you it was during the holidays so I do understand some delay, however there was no communication whatsoever, left things open ended and even after paying him he provided estimated numbers. I missed one call from him, I called right back and he wasn't available. When I called, his secretary had no clue who I was, so I had to explain my situation all over again, she didn't know David had called me and left a message and again I had to explain he wanted to talk but I honestly felt like she didn't care about us whatsoever. Several times she told us he'd call us back and never did. I had to call back every time and explain my situation over again to her. I finally got ahold of David and he again gave me estimated numbers over the phone so I paid his to essentially plug some numbers in on a calculator and guess. He provided me less than favorable options at this point, but we decided to meet in person so I can better understand. I did have to reschedule the second meeting for two days later and in the meantime I spoke to another attorney who promised he was able to do what David said could

David has worked very well with mutual clients seeking Offers-in-compromise with the IRS. He is also an excellent bankruptcy attorney. Has common sense approach to problems which is very refreshing. Recently he has worked with mutual clients in setting up LLCs, preparing wills and real estate closings. As an accounting professional, I can confidently send clients to him and know they will be handled with professional advice and care.

3/2/22 I called at 5pm today and David answered the phone, even though his office was afficially closed. I was having some problems with another attorney regarding my bankruptcy. David was kind enough to talk with me at no cost, for 45 minutes after hours. He is very knowledgeable and was very patient with me. After speaking with him I felt better and had a much clearer understanding of my case. It's not often that you can find an attorney that you feel is trustworthy just from speaking to them, and David is truly that one person who can be trusted to tell his clients the truth. I only wish I could have hired David first. Thanks for your help and great advice. BJ.

I can not say enough about the prompt response and overall professionalism that Mr. Semanchik displayed throughout our interactions. I have a history that made it difficult to feel comfortable when working with an attorney. Using Dave has transformed my views in that regard. He displayed the highest level of ethics, principles, and integrity throughout our business together. I now not only consider him my attorney, I consider him my friend. I recommend him highly to anyone.

I chose David because he was close to my job. After the phone consultation which was incredibly thorough and probably close to 20 minutes long I new my search for a lawyer was over. I told David I have a very tight deadline. David gave me a list of documents he needed. Thankfully he was able to meet the deadline! I never had a problem contacting David via email or phone. He always responded within 24 hours. His secretary was always very pleasant. I really appreciated how he clearly explained what was going on and what was expected from me. I can't imagine another lawyer doing what David did for me with the limited time he had to work with. I'm actually going to miss my interactions with him.
