I reached out to the team at Melissa Proudian's office in January of 2025. We had a meeting where they clearly outlined the entire SSDI application process including the pros and cons. I immediately provided their office with all of the medical and employment history documentation that they requested. During the process, their team was extremely knowledgeable, professional and responsive. In mid-July 2025, I was approved with full benefits. Advice: Provide their office with ALL of the documentation that they request from you as quickly as possible. Help them to help you. I am a 100% disabled veteran and I hired Melissa to help me and I'm still waiting for all my money to come through because Melissa told Social Security to send her $35,000 for lawyer fees even though it's written in law that the lawyer can only charge a maximum of 25% of your past-due back pay or $9,200, whichever amount is less so I would never recommend Melissa to anyone because she is a lawyer and should already know the law.
