We hired Marisa as our attorney as a first time home buyer in NY. She is helpful and kind throughout the entire process, also she responds promptly to my emails and SMS texts. During the transaction we had many unexpected situations: closing date delay, closing condition mismatch etc. Marisa communicated proactively on behalf of us, worked with the Seller attorney and the Bank side to resolve conflicts, and finally we got the house and we loved it!

I sold my condo in Brooklyn, NY and Marisa represented me as the seller's attorney. She did an excellent job guiding each step of the way. It was really crucial that she was fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, and it was so easy to communicate with her in both languages. She answered all my questions via email, text and phone in a timely manner. She took extra patience and care dealing with our condo being in a Trust. We closed remotely in California, and she made sure to get us all the paperwork ahead of time so that we could close on schedule. Home buying process can be long and stressful. Marisa was with us every step of the way as our attorney. She is patient, knowledgeable and very accommodating. We had to back out of our first contract, and Marisa just did her best to protect our interest. She is very thorough as she explains the contract and rider to us folks who don't speak the legal lingo. She was flexible and accommodating to meet our needs in terms of time, especially during the busy and hectic Holiday season. Marisa is very responsive and follows through promptly. She provided us with other references such as insurance. Marisa will go above and beyond to make your home buying process as smooth as possible. Having Marisa as our real estate attorney was the best decision that my husband and I could have made. Thank you for helping us close on our first home !! Marisa is the best! We mistakenly believed we had to have a certain document prepared, but Marisa was the first lawyer we contacted that pointed out it's not necessary as we already had a copy in our offering plan.
