About Legal Services of North Dakota
Legal Services of North Dakota (LSND) is a non-profit organization established in 2004 through the consolidation of two existing North Dakota legal aid programs. The organization provides free civil legal assistance to low-income and elderly individuals across North Dakota, including residents of three tribal nations. LSND's mission is to compassionately and respectfully address the legal needs of vulnerable populations, ensuring timely access to justice and empowering the community through education and knowledge.
LSND offers legal support in a variety of civil matters, including consumer issues, housing, senior issues, employment, domestic violence, Indian law, family and children's matters, public benefits, and taxes. The firm also assists with bankruptcies, estate matters, insurance, and document replacement as part of its disaster legal services program. LSND operates offices in Bismarck, Fargo, Minot, Grand Forks, New Town, and Belcourt. The organization processes approximately 8,000 applications for assistance each year, providing support in about two-thirds of these requests. Legal Services of North Dakota does not charge clients for its services and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, or age.

They don't help worth anything. If the other party even contacts them and you need the help they turn you away. So because they wouldn't help all the evidence we had for court was thrown out and it would have cause the other party to have been charged with perjury several times. Because we didn't have a lawyer they even admitted to a lie while on the stand and their attorney managed to get the judge to have it stricken.

When I and many others that live in North Dakota repeatly hear, we must go outside the state to get qualified. Experienced law firms that are willing to fight for our rights. HOUSTON WE HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM. By the looks of things. The U.N. is probably the one who should be contacted.
