Mark D. Oettinger

Montroll, Oettinger & Barquist, P.C. was founded in 2013 as Montroll, Backus & Oettinger, P.C. by Andy Montroll and Rob Backus, who had previously served together on the Burlington City Council. Michelle Mraz joined the firm in February 2014 to manage its expanding operations. Mark Oettinger initially joined as attorney of counsel in July 2014 and was welcomed as a partner in January 2016. L. Randolph Amis became an attorney of counsel in July 2016, and Evan Barquist joined as a senior associate in early 2018, later becoming a partner. The firm subsequently adopted its current name, Montroll, Oettinger & Barquist, P.C., following Rob Backus's departure and Evan Barquist's elevation to partner.
