Conflicts of Interest The presiding Judge has multiple conflicts of interest which compromise impartiality. His daughter is employed at a law firm whose attorneys routinely appear before him, and for whom he has consistently granted favorable rulings and accommodations. Pattern of Favoritism and Harassment Plaintiff has been subjected to harassment by a landowner for over ten years. Counsel from the Judge's daughter's law firm, representing that landowner, has even gone so far as to threaten Plaintiff in public—while openly boasting of the Judge's influence and control. The Judge subsequently dismissed Plaintiff's claims, effectively placing the landowner and his attorneys in control of the proceedings an awarding several thousands in attorney fee to his friend. Judicial Background and Misuse of Role The Judge previously served as an appellate attorney and has demonstrated a tendency to craft orders and denials in a way that preempts appellate review. Instead of ruling on the facts presented, he frames findings around rebuttal defenses, making meaningful appeal virtually impossible and denying Plaintiff due process. Renewed Harassment Enabled by Judicial Conduct With Plaintiff's claims dismissed, the landowner has resumed harassment, emboldened by his knowledge of the Judge's bias and lack of impartiality. This underscores the prejudicial impact of the Judge's conduct and the improper influence of his conflicts of interest.
