Payed $3500 in cash, made fun of hand writing... told me numerous time won't speak on the phone, only emails, then never responded after updating my email to him.

Martin has been a great lawyer for ne and my family. He listens to what you need and helps you get actual results. He even helps when you just have a question. My experience with him was fantastic.

Would NEVER choose his office. Super defensive. Unaware of what's going on. Likes to argue but won't even be on subject. Represents his best interest NOT YOURS!!! Showed up to court LATE. Did not have updated documents and when questioned almost walked out on us. Super aggressive in the worst way. No one wants to feel like they are defending themselves to the person supposed to defend them but he WILL make you feel that way. HE WILL CALL THIS FAKE TO PROTECT HIS EGO BUT TO PREVENT BEING ATTACKED AND MY CASE DISCUSSED I HAVE WRITTEN THIS ON SOME ELSES PLATFORM. DOES NOT MAKE MY EXPERIENCE ANY LESS TRUTHFUL. Paid over 3,500 and was completely embarrassed to be represented by him. 0/10 in every way

In our initial meeting for my divorce, I was told there was no way I would end up in a position where assets were not divided fairly, especially considering the length of the marriage--nearly 50 years--and that, generally, things would be handled in a 50/50 manner regardless of the source of funds. Based on that understanding, I moved forward with confidence in the process. However, during the Zoom meeting with my ex-spouse and her attorney, the direction changed significantly. When her attorney stated her position regarding the house and inheritance, I felt that I was strongly encouraged to accept those terms rather than having my position more firmly advocated. I repeatedly heard that I should "just take it" because it was the best I was going to get. Looking back, I regret not reviewing his client feedback before retaining him. My experience aligns closely with the concerns others have raised. Throughout this process, I often felt that communication was dismissive and, at times, condescending rather than supportive or advisory. I was also disappointed in the level of preparation and representation during our Zoom meeting. It did not appear that he was fully prepared, and much of the discussion involved reviewing materials I had already provided, rather than advocating my position with a clear strategy. I would never recommend Martin!! He's a terrible lawyer.

Do not hire. Unprepared for hearings. More aggressive towards his clients than opposing counsel. Incompetent when it comes to certain aspects of the law. Does not adequately communicate with clients in a timely or effective matter. Has more 1 stars reviews but many were deleted due to his retaliatory nature in responding to reviews and exposing the nature and details of their legal case(s).
