About National Housing Law Project
The National Housing Law Project (NHLP) was founded in 1968 as part of the War on Poverty. Its mission is to advance housing justice for poor people and communities. NHLP achieves this by strengthening and enforcing the rights of tenants and low-income homeowners, increasing housing opportunities for underserved communities, and preserving and expanding the nation's supply of safe and affordable homes.
As a support center, NHLP provides technical assistance and training to legal aid attorneys and co-counsels on key litigation. The organization also works with organizers and other advocacy and service organizations. NHLP engages in public policy advocacy and impact litigation, grounding its work in the everyday experiences of housing program beneficiaries and bringing a grassroots perspective to policy conversations. The firm believes in the fundamental right to housing, recognizing housing security as essential for racial and civil equality, education, health, employment, social engagement, and opportunity. NHLP hosts the Housing Justice Network, a collection of over 1000 legal services attorneys, advocates, and organizers. NHLP does not provide direct legal services to individuals.

Mr. Eric Dunn was unhelpful. Instead of lending a hand he believed that i wanted preferential treatment for places I had already submitted intakes for.
