Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers

The Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (PACDL) is a statewide association for criminal defense attorneys, public defenders, and assigned counsel throughout Pennsylvania. Founded in 1988, PACDL provides education, resources, and support to the Pennsylvania criminal defense bar. Its mission is to educate, advocate, and inspire, promoting effective competence and protecting freedoms within the criminal justice system.

PACDL serves as a premier network for over 800 defense attorneys, offering top-tier CLEs, a dynamic Listserv, and support from its Lawyers Assistance Strike Force. The association publishes "For the Defense," a quarterly digital magazine, and provides opportunities for advocacy and leadership.
