These people (Bonnie Ingram) will hang you out to dry at the last minute and blame it on you. They are a Joke…how do I give zero stars?

PineTree Legal across the State of Maine is an excellent FREE legal svc for lower income residents/families. They offer many different types of legal assistance and assign you a specific Lawyer to assist you throughout your legal battle. I personally have used PineTree many times throughout my adult life. Some cases I won, some I had to settle BUT the Lawyers they hire specialize in EVICTIONS and they know the Maine State Law very well. My ONLY reason for giving a 4 star 🌟 review is their lack of hours in which you can actually call and speak to someone to GET assigned a Lawyer. BUT I also realize the unfortunate necessity of limited intake hours as they are bombarded with WAY too many cases, which is just a sad reality. Once you do reach the office your case is immediately assessed and if they believe you need Legal Counsel you get it! They assign you to a specific team, usually made up of a Board Certified Lawyer and their assistant who are your contacts throughout your legal case from start to finish, which is comforting to anyone facing a scary legal issue. That being said they ARE funded by the State of Maine so take that into consideration 🤔...YOU will be doing most of the "leg work", gathering info, video, audio and documentation that you will need to win your case, so KNOW THE LAW in Maine and gather as much as you can for your Lawyer to utilize in Court to help you WIN 🏆. That being said, your assigned Lawyer will guide you throughout your legal process and explain in great detail exactly what will help you GET that win 🏆. All in all Maine resident's are very fortunate to have this free service at their disposal!! Many Blessings to anyone going through any legal issue as it is never a pleasant thing to have to deal with.

Was treated less than human. I had a higher star reviewing before because the person I had beforehand was really helpful and treated me with human decency even if help was limited and was able to communicate with me clearly. I was asking about two separate cases and was met with the worst attitude. It ended up making it hard to ask questions I was asked after because I felt humiliated and lost track of what I was saying because I was treated poorly. People of Maine are becoming more homeless over unfair circumstances and we are getting less help. This is a major issue and flaw maine is dealing with now. There are tons of crooked management and slumlords and the people of Maine that really try their best at getting any kind of justice are the ones that fall.

Misspelled my name twice, failed to consider my issues reasonably, and wrote a "closing letter" with multiple spelling, formatting, and grammatical errors. Their website says they take walk-ins but a sign on the door says "please call X number" and the number is invalid. Negligent, uncaring, and probably doing illegal things. I may hire a PI to investigate PTLA.
