He helped me in a child support case. He saved me from being abused in the court system several years ago. I will return to get his help in future court cases.

Rude and arrogant. I would not recommend doing business with this attorney.

Ray Rush represented my ex husband in our divorce proceedings. I represented myself since the community assets were controlled exclusively by his client, which is how his client was able to retain him. Half of his payment came from me and my children! On 2 occasions I contacted his office once to speak with him, the second to obtain an email address so I could provide him with documents his client was requesting. On both occasions his assistant/paralegal/office staff, I'm unsure of her title, answered the phone and as soon as she heard my name her demeanor changed and she was incredibly rude and stated on the call about his email address….."he's not going to give you that", only attorneys can email him", I stated I was representing myself and was only trying to provide him with information requested by me. On the next call when I asked to speak with him or schedule a time to speak with him her response was "he's not going to speak to you". That was after I left my first review so I'm sure they're unhappy with me. That's not my issue or negative complaint. Since I represented myself I had the opportunity to negotiate with Ray Rush privately in attempt to reach an agreement before pretrial. Ray Rush had a one sided, preconceived judgment of me and absolutely used threats to persuade me agree to his demands. Clearly he wasn't aware of who he was representing, and at this time in his defense he still doesn't know who he was representing fully. In addition he blatantly ignored a very serious allegation I brought to him in regards to the visitation rights for his client. Disregarded it and overlooked it and continued on to request the visitation that was not in the best interest of my child. I requested therapy for my daughter and his client and a slow transition visitation plan considering the length of time it had been since his client had a presence in my child's life. Another area that led me to leave this review was his decision or his assistants decision to name a
