  Matthew Shaftel, and Shaftel Law Firm Team THANKYOU SO MUCH! Matt is a very Professional Attorney, and is always current with new immigration laws that you can find on Shaftel Law websites. Matt helped my husband with the process of obtaining his Permanent Resident Card 9/2025 The process can become overwhelming, but Matt and his team are very caring, compassionate and most of all Patient. Always explains the process everystep, making sure we understand, and returned my calls/emails when I had questions, and concerns. Our interview took place outside the country. Before, during, and after our interview process Matt and team made sure paperwork was in order and we had copies. Matt was available for us to reach him during this sensitive time. Our next step will be US citizenship. We are definitely looking forward to having Matt as our lawyer.

  We talked to 8 different lawyers. High powered legal firms in NY and San Francisco, law firms with multiple offices in different countries, and more. Matthew was by far the most caring, most investigative, and genuinely human lawyer we spoke with at our consultation.   Shaftel Law is the best if you are going for immigration visa/residency needs. Matt is very knowledgeable, friendly, and is diligent with all the processes and updates happening throughout your application. Related to his communication style, he's straightforward to work with and I usually receive responses within 24 hours if not instantly, which is quite impressive given the amount of work he puts in for all of his clients. If you are trying to navigate a fairly complicated immigration system, he's the first person you should contact and schedule your appointment with him. Matt and Alondra will work closely with you at every step of the process which is really important as the information gathering and your documentation is very very intense.
