The intake worker was laughing on the phone while she was taking all my information. I couldn't tell if she was laughing at me or somebody else in the room… Not cool

Discriminated against me based on gender. Little to no communication until a whistleblower told me on a recorded line that: " While You do meet all the qualifications for our services through our intake, but..... the majority of our budget goes towards helping women and children and the abused." On the website they make no mention of this. I had no choice but to proceed on my own and now they represent the opposing party in the same matter free of charge. The only difference between the two parties is gender. At the time of request, I was unemployed and was a more qualified participant and was rejected , but they refused any communication or follow up. Not only do we have policing problems in our state, but also discrimination regarding legal aid for those that need it the most.
