  A couple of caveats first. (1) I am tough -- you can look through my review distribution and see that I am not shy about keeping businesses accountable. (2) I rarely have an experience with a lawyer that is positive. I always get stuck with a bill that is unexpectedly high or getting shuffled between junior less experienced lawyers. That said, working with Nick has been awesome. He is thoughtful and thorough. He takes ownership for his work and follows the steps and details of the transaction closely. I was never worried that I would not be able to reach him or that he would overlook the details. He is smart and he has your back. He has now worked on 3 real estate transactions for me. I will continue to use him for all my transactions in the NY area.

  Nick and his associate Peter Okragly helped us with our firs time home purchase in New York City. A very complicated and time-consuming endower. The two biggest fears in finding a good real estate attorney are, will they be responsive, and would they be knowledgeable enough. Peter not only completely addressed these fears but also provided us with an exemplar customer service. Peter was very professional, punctual, responsive, knowledgeable and personable. He guided us through the process, and always explained everything in detail yet very easy to understand. We felt that we were in good hands the entire time. Nick also went above and beyond, accommodating changes in the time of the closing and making sure that we got to be in our new home for Christmas. Overall, excellent service, value and customer service.

  Highly professional and sophisticated law firm! We have now used Nick Bowers twice (once from the buy and the second time from the sell side) and couldn't be more thrilled with his professionalism, respect, and attention to detail. Both closings went smoothly given his firm's deep experience. We also had an issue when purchasing a home related to the seller, and Nick went above and to fix the issue without charging more for all his extra time...he truly cares about his clients!

  Nick is hands down the best real estate attorney I ever worked with. I was lucky enough to have him help me buy and sell a home in NY. Both times, Nick, Peter, and their team went above and beyond to close the transactions. The sale happened during COVID and his team managed the remote closing seamlessly, while I was away. Absolutely outstanding! Real estate transactions are complex and it is important to ask questions. Some lawyers are impatient and don't like to explain the process to their clients. Those are the attorneys you shouldn't hire. Nick is the complete opposite. He has always been patient, detail-oriented, and helpful while keeping my best interest in mind. He is my go-to real estate lawyer and I can't recommend him enough.

When we were going over the contract, he took the time to address all of my concerns and explain the fine print - he speak in a way that anyone can easily understand.
