The worse lawyer ever. Surprised ever passed the bar exam and had been almost disbarred a few times. Stay away!

Highly recommend Lesly Jones Thomas. She is straight to the point. She will fight for you to the T. I was in a 10-year battle with a divorce; that lawyer fought for everything that belonged to my daughter and me. Thanks, Lesly, for your hard work

I reached out to Leslie Jones Thomas, Esq. in mid-January seeking either representation or a referral for a Family Court matter. Over the course of approximately two months, I provided requested information and followed up multiple times, but did not receive a clear confirmation or decline of representation. I was told that she could conduct a consultation the evening before my court hearing in February, but I did not receive any follow-up email, call, or text. I ultimately had to reach out again shortly before my court appearance without ever receiving a clear answer, leaving me in a time-sensitive situation without representation. During one of the final communications, I was told that it "did not appear" I could afford her fee after I had provided financial information. However, no consultation was ever scheduled, no payment was ever requested, and no opportunity was given for me to retain her services or make payment. I had also previously asked about her accepted payment methods in order to move forward, but that was never addressed. At no point was I given a definitive yes or no, nor was I provided a referral despite requesting one. I understand that attorneys may decline cases, but clear and timely communication is essential. The lack of responsiveness and failure to provide a direct answer or referral over a two-month period made an already stressful legal matter significantly more difficult. This review reflects my experience and the timeline of communication.
