The Valley County Prosecuting Attorney's Office serves the people of Valley County, Idaho, by providing professional, fair, and effective prosecution in criminal matters. The office collaborates with law enforcement to maintain a safe community, enhance quality of life for residents and visitors, and ensure crime victims are treated with fairness, compassion, and respect.

The Criminal Team is responsible for prosecuting infractions, misdemeanor violations, and felonies across the entire county. Additionally, the Civil Team provides legal services and advice to the Board of County Commissioners, elected officials, and department heads on various issues. These services include contract review, real estate transactions, land use planning, civil litigation, and risk management. The office also handles Child Protection cases, adult Conservatorship/Guardianship cases, and Indigency Services. It is important to note that the prosecuting attorneys do not represent crime victims or provide legal advice to defendants or the general public.
