Alaska Legal Services Corporation (ALSC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1967, dedicated to providing free civil legal aid to eligible low-income Alaskans. As the state's only comprehensive statewide provider of civil legal aid, ALSC assists thousands of individuals and families annually with issues concerning housing, safety, health, and access to essential services. The organization operates through 10 physical offices and various community partnerships.

  They were very picky about their help. Very very unprofessional, if they answered the phone at all. They were however very quik in there denial of services letter tho.

  I was put in a horrific situation and these people came to my rescue. Imbuing their knowledge on me of how to prepare a case and present evidence accordingly.   Chelsea is amazing, and extremely knowledgeable! You must go through the process of course, but I would HIGHLY recommend using AK legal services. Ms. Gregerson was not able to represent me in court, however she made herself available through email and phone calls, and I was able to see her in person a few times to get help with paperwork, and ensure that I was representing myself effectively. I had zero out of pocket expenses to talk to her, and prepare for court. Thank you so much!

  They never seem to be able to help or always say it's a conflict of interest. Pointless to have these services available for low income if you can't utilize them.
