  He was rude, condescending, and very abrupt. The second he found out the person couldn't afford him he said "well maybe they're better off representing themselves". I never would have thought a lawyer would say that. I get it's a business but having some compassion doesn't cost anyone anything.

  At first, I thought Mark was on top of the game. I received his letter and business card in the mail just a few days after my complaint. I called him, left a message, and no reply. I followed up a week later, once again no response. I then moved on to finding another attorney. It's not the lack of answering the phone that was as problematic (although I imagine most people want an attorney who will be responsive). What really warranted the 1 star was the quality of once he finally did get back to me. Unfortunately, he was rather rude on the phone. He asked how he may help me and I expressed to him that I had been trying to reach out to him for awhile and since I had not heard from had to pursue other attorney options. I then paused for a second considering his services might be more affordable and wanted to know more. He was rude, saying well let me ask you again can I help you. As I was trying to reply, he hung up on me. HUNG UP on me. How professional is that? Not very. He lost my business immediately. Too bad. I cannot recommend him, because if he is willing to display this type of unprofessional behavior, I would never want him to handle any legal matters.

  I had a really great experience speaking with Attorney Mike Anzalone. I left him a voicemail looking for some legal advice, and he called me back quickly. Even though I wasn't reaching out as a criminal client, I needed some guidance on a situation I'm currently dealing with. Mike was kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to talk with me for free, gave me really solid advice, and honestly helped calm my nerves, which is huge for me these days. I wasn't expecting a criminal defense attorney to be so warm and supportive, but he absolutely was.
