  Worst lawyer ever!! She was rude and would not tell us what was going on. She waited 2 years to even file for bankruptcy, which caused almost $10,000 in extra fees. Plus had to pay $6,000 lump sum payments to our mortgage company yearly for 5 years to make up fees. I just found out that I have a lien on my property that I payed for, but she didn't remove! Now I have to go through the "application process" to have them look at what they didn't finish. Just bad all the way around. If I knew then what I know now, I would have took out loans for a lawyer! Free is not always better!

  They only do civil litigation your intake system is very challenging it's Hit or Miss sometimes they will take a case sometimes they will not. They typically only help tenants were being evicted. Because they refuse to pay their landlords. I do believe they also help people with criminal expungement but unfortunately they don't represent people charged with criminal cases such as misdemeanors or major felony charges most of their attorneys are from the public Pretenders office. With that being said they represented me several years ago I was somewhat satisfied. It was better than nothing and I didn't have to pay for it so what can I say...🤗

  I have been in the process of trying to get a divorce for a year and a half now and I just keep getting the runaround for everything. The lawyer I have takes days to answer back and I have to leave smart messages with the receptionist to even get a call from my lawyer. I have asked on multiple occasions to speak to a supervisor and I'm always told the same thing, that the supervisor is out of office and won't be available for days. It's always the same thing over and over again. I have made appointments to go to the office( which is 45 minutes from where I live) just for the lawyer not to be there and not show up and she did not give me any warning or heads up that she would not be there. I email her and I go weeks without hearing anything back. I do have children with the man I am trying to divorce but I have never seen anybody's custody and divorce take a year and a half. It is absolutely ridiculous at this point.

  Good place to get legal help and advice. Their help and service don't rely on how much money ya got to give em bc they are non-profit!!!
