  Ben has done our taxes for years. We were always very satisfied with his services. In fact, the past 5 years we drove 2 hours each way to have him do our taxes. It didn't bother us that his rates doubled without warning. He was worth it. It's October 17th, 2021. We still haven t received our refund from 2019. My husband and I called several times, left. voice messages, text messages, messages with his receptionist who is also his wife. We asked for help, guidance, anything. We got nothing. Finally after an angry voicemail hus wife returned our call just to say "Call the IRS". which was shut down due to COVID. Finally, I was able to speak with an IRS agent. They have no record of our 2019 taxes being filed. It took several more calls to inform Ben's wife... Never did get to speak to BEN. He didn't have time. She mailed me a duplicate filing which I mailed to the IRS myself. That was 8 months ago. Still nothing. So what do I do? Who do I need to talk to? Ben doesn't have the time. I need my money. We haven't filed for 2020 yet. We are going to get a refund for that year as well but we're afraid it may be "lost", that the same thing will happen. We got the 1st stimulus check but not the other ones. We NEED our money. Now more than ever. It makes no sense to us that Mr. Barnes has no solution to offer us. Even worse, he couldn't spare a few minutes to speak directly to us. So frustrated and disappointed. 😰

  Mr. Barnes and his wife are two of the most wonderful people that I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I have used their services for over 9 years and am obviously very pleased with the promptness ,kindness and professionalism in getting things done.
