Shes been helping my sister with a case for a while and she has been doing mn g an amazing job. All it seems she does is work with the welfare of children and I'm so glad my sister has her as a lawyer!!!!! I would recommend to anyone who is having trouble with a custody issue

Erica does an amazing job at keeping you informed with the progress of your case. She is always mindful of the costs and will do everything she can to not spend your money unnecessarily. Jody at front desk is a total hoot!

I would not recommend this attorney. At first, I thought Erica was polite, compassionate, and professional. I had hired her to assist me in modifying child support and child custody arrangement from a divorce six years prior. She thoroughly explained the process and my options. She sent a proposal to alter the arrangements based upon his life circumstances (significant wage increase, living thousands of miles away). His response included inaccurate information and personal correspondence that was incomplete. Upon receiving this response from my ex-husband, I provided her with a set of organized documents to put in a counter, which she stated she had submitted. Upon losing a portion of the case, I spoke to her afterward and said I was surprised the judge ruled that way given the provided documentation. She replied, "Me too." I then received a thousand-dollar bill from her, which I requested an itemized list. When I received the list, it did not include the response. I then asked for the court record and found out that she had lied and failed to submit a counter.

Erica is a friendly and professional attorney. Her staff are wonderful and have always been prompt to return my calls. She's a pit bull in the court room. I have her on my phone book and any problems I encounter I say talk to my lawyer. Also her working in North Dakota and Minnesota is a real convenience for myself. She'll make the drive to meet me wherever I am and I highly recommend her.

Erica handled my divorce and child custody in 2015. She was pleasant. She was really nice and really helped me through the difficult process. I really appreciate all the things she and her team did to help make it through that difficult time.

DO NOT TRUST HER – Unethical and Negligent I had the misfortune of trusting Erica Chisholm of Chisholm Law Firm in Wahpeton, North Dakota, with my disability case. For two years, she told me it was "a slow process" and led me to believe she was actively working on my claim. In reality, she faxed one document and later dismissed it as a "favor." I lost two full years of benefits, backpay, and time I can never recover. She also previously represented my husband in his divorce before I married him—a conflict of interest she never disclosed. That alone should have disqualified her from taking my case. I filed a formal complaint with the North Dakota Disciplinary Board, and they confirmed that action was taken. That speaks volumes about her ethics and professionalism. I will never recommend Erica Chisholm or Chisholm Law Firm to anyone. If you value your time, health, and legal rights, go elsewhere. —D.
