  I set up a phone consultation. The lawyer did not call me at the agreed upon time. I spoke with the guy the next day and set up a time for that evening. Consultation time came again and nothing...no call. 45 minutes past the time we were to speak I get a call and text asking if I was available. Horrible first impression. I will be bringing my business elsewhere.

  I've been working with Mr. Oliver for over 3 years now. When I first met him I was in a terrible situation. He took the time to meet with me in person, despite already knowing all the details and that he would be suggesting I not hire him at that time. Essentially, he treated me as if he was going to get paid, but knowing he was going to turn me away in order to save me money and resources he knew I didn't have at the time due to a nasty custody case. He took the time to meet with me and comfort all my concerns and the misinformation I'd received with legal facts. He was patient, kind, considerate, professional, well -informed, extremely understanding and non-judgemental. 3 years later and after having actually hiring him last May, I would not only say that every single one of these qualities is true, but I stand by them even more!! Mr. Oliver TRULY cares about people. He defies every negative stereotype surrounding attorneys. I recommend him to anyone I know in financial debt or in need of his services. I asked him what I could do to help him and he suggested this review. I wish I could scream from the mountain tops so the world could know that he's the BEST ATTORNEY in his field in the Twin Cities HANDS DOWN. This is my second go -round here with this chapter 13 and I've interviewed several attorneys in this feild over the years. Through family Court and other areas of law I've never come across an attorney remotely similar to Mr. Oliver. He's a RARE FIND. He's almost always reachable by phone and returns calls quickly. He's responsive and responsible. He CARES and he will put your needs and that of your families over his own....even above politics. I will never turn to another attorney in this field as long as I live. He has a for-life client in me. Meet with him and see for yourself!!   I spoke with Karl Oliver a few months ago, about an urgent legal issue I was having. He said he would take my case and he asked me to gather some information for him. I attempted to contact him by phone, texts and emails, leaving messages off and on for three weeks. He never responded. Not even a message to say he decided not to take my case. From other reviews, sounds like a pattern. Would never recommend.
