If you want an attorney or law office to return your calls, answer your questions, and keep you abreast of your matter, this is not the attorney/law office for you! If you expect your business (case, estate, etc.) to be completed in a timely manner (or even in the time frame given), this is not the place for you! I would love to support a local business, but definitely not this one ever again!

I was referred to this law office by an associate of a Crawl-Space company because my home inspector did a sub-par inspection and it ended up costing me a lot of unexpected expenses with both the crawl space and plumbing. I was an out-of-state buyer and couldn't see the home I bought for months after I purchased it to know about all the unexpected issues. I called this law office and they made me an appt. with William Cain in April. I drove about 30 minutes to Elwood talk to him about my issue. He seemed interested and came across like there might be a case against them, took the information I gave him and said he would have to "discuss with other attorneys." It's now the end of June and I never heard from him again. Because of this, it's too late to take legal action because it's now been over a year since the home inspection and their contract states "No legal action can be pursued after a year." This is so unprofessional and inconsiderate. You'd figure people that are supposed to have a "high-status profession" and go to school for many years, would then be able to "know" how to be considerate and respectful of those who reach out for advice and drive an extra distance to speak with them. How hard would it have been to contact me and say, "I'm sorry but this isn't something we can proceed with." But, instead, I just get totally blown-off.
