  I hired Nick James as a GAL. He failed to perform at my expectations. His report was full of typos and errors as if he had his secretary wrote it for him last minute. He never talked to my kids directly. He was handed plenty of evidence that supported my case. He was my last hope in this case and he treated me like I was just another stack of paper on his desk. He collected his money and moved on. My life and children's future was at stake and he could care less. If you expect an attorney to get deeply involved and care about your case, Nick James is not the attorney you're looking for. One in person meeting was all I got at the cost of almost 2k. I would have been better off throwing my hard earned money in the trash.

  Nic James did a fantastic job with my divorce case. He was very knowledgeable about the process and quick to provide answers to my questions. I had moved to a different state during the divorce and he called and emailed me with updates. He was willing to do phone meetings when I couldn't be there in person and kept me focused when my emotions were running high. He was always the professional and even got me a better settlement than we even thought possible. And finally, his legal aide was always willing to go the extra mile when needed and also kept me informed. I would definitely recommend this law firm and specifically Nic for any legal needs.   I am truly thankful for Nic and his knowledge and professionalism during my divorce case. I retained him after trying to go through the procedures without an attorney, so he had to play catch up and did a great job. I would not recommend trying to go through a divorce without an attorney. Nic took the time to get to know my case and me. I will say, not everything went the way I wanted but, it was handled as professionally as possible. Just remember, nobody really wins in a divorce. It's a process of decisions, and I believe Nic did the best he could do for me and my situation. I believe he went above and beyond to help me and would highly recommend him to represent anyone looking for counsel. Thank you to Nic for all he does!
