  I would not have trusted anyone else to handle my divorce. Jim always helped ease my nerves about going in the courtroom. There really aren't "winners" in a divorce, but if you are facing someone who you are worried might try to screw you over I would highly suggest hiring Jim. He is an aggressive and tenacious attorney that always has his client's best interest in mind.

  Best attorney around! He always gave me great advice and truly cared about the outcome of my situation. Him and Virginia were always available to answer any questions or concerns that I had. I hope I never need an attorney again but if I do he will be the one I call!

  I highly recommend Jim as a divorce attorney. He is honest and will tell you what is best, even if it's not what you want to hear. He and his paralegal, Ms. Virginia, helped me through my divorce and quickly responded to any question or concerns that arose.   Words can't express how amazing Jim and Virginia are. They truly care about their clients and the outcome. I worked with them for my divorce and custody in 2014/2015 and just now from September 2020 to last week for a final and last custody case. They truly are considerate and thoughtful. Virginia makes sure to answers all your questions and Jim is the best of the best in your defense! I am so glad I hired them to do what was in the best interest of my children .   Can't thank Jim Baechtold enough! Without a doubt he is the best attorney in and around Madison County! Had a relative facing 25 years and I went to him and asked him to represent him and we got 3 years probation. The best of the best!!! Highly recommend him. His secretary Niki is a gem!! Returned all my calls and explained everything to me and was just super awesome!!! Never left us hanging and waiting.
