I can't believe this place, 5/12/23 and I could not get any help out of them. All I needed was a quickclaim deed the proper for Arkansas. Couldn't get past the girl at the front desk all because my wife and I made just a little too much money. I did not want any help filling out the quitclaim deed or filing it. I just needed to know which one to use.

They hang up on you frequently they are rude and unwilling to help at all. Just save up the money and get a mean lawyer. Not worth the time or effort and sadly this is most of how arkansas acts like. No money no gains.

⸻ I reached out to Legal Aid of Arkansas on four separate occasions, each time with a different legal issue, to see if they could provide assistance. Each time, I was told they could not help me, and no clear guidance or alternative resources were offered. I found this frustrating, as I was seeking support and expected at least some direction from an organization dedicated to helping people in legal need. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this organization for those in urgent need of legal assistance.

I had a issue with a hud landlord that was very disfuntional and was caught up in lies not to mention he was a slum Lord. Sam Presley he tried to cause me so much stress and hardship. And got away with all of the lies and misconduct of a government housing. I got nothing for the hardship I was forced to be homeless and legal aid doesn't uphold there mato of helping people with wrong treatment of disability and mental ill tenants. Sam Presley didn't want to do repairs and he was allowed to go day after day harassment and intolerance forcing me to give up. Greene county housing Authority sided with him even they were caught in lies.... I never once not once failed an inspection I had to clean the disgusting place it was the most nastiest place the renter before used no soap or anything. I hurt so bad from spinal synopsis and nurphty not to mention other mental health issues. And the first month of june my air conditioner went out I waited 2 weeks then washer. The woman on hud in the next apartment waiting 1 day for air conditioner plus stove she had been using for heat in winter. I never received anything from my deposit or legal aid . The blankets and sheets I had to throw away and the gross whatever came from under refrigerator I was trying to clean..The couch was a gift it was really nice I couldn't afford to move it because of the constant hurrassment of landlord and other tenants. The landlord said it cost him to have it thrown out

I used legal aid years ago when I owned my trailer n it was in a trailer park . I was friends with the owner at the time and I sold items on line . I worked . For her . Cleaned her house . Got her whatever she needed . Took care of her n her grandchildren when she was sick n the daughter wouldn't answer the phone . Well I heard she got sick n turned the park over to her granddaughter . The owner. Was supposed to b taking. Money off from my lot rent for items n work. N I would ask her n she would say yes but I never got a receipt . The next thing I no I'm. Being. Evicted n she wants the title to my trailer or she was going to ..... Me . I don't. No what happened actually . But it was bad . To my point of legal aid .. They helped me in one day to b able to stay long enough to pack n sell my trailer. So I would have someplace to go. I give 10 stars to legal aid because I was waiting to get my disability. At the time n had no vehicle or money n they helped me . I could go on about her . But legal aid is awesome !!!! I had one day when I found the paper stuffed in my back door I never. Use or she was going to throw me out with the clothes. On. My back .. They saved my life in 1 day !
