I have known Maite Hoyos for over 15 years and in simple terms, she is my lawyer. Maite and her amazing team are an important part of my personal and professional sucess. I started with an elaborated visa process for my family and myself. Today we are U.S Citizens. All our employees have been taken care off by Maite and if anyone ask me any immigration related question, my answer is always the same, lets call Maite! To the point, profesional, with an deep knowhow of the law and cero BS, that is what anyone should expect and will get from Maite's Law firm. Fernando Duprat CEO Nexus+Digiprint

Really bad experience. Our appointment was scheduled to begin at 2:30pm and we had to wait more than 40 mins. We had to call the assistant to know what happened instead of them calling us. Once we were finally in the call, she was clearly working on some other stuff while talking to us, which we found very disrespectful. The meeting lasted a bit more than 20 mins (we paid $100 for an hour) as she was only giving very short answers to all of our questions and not being clear at all. Last but not least, we're still waiting for her email about the costs of our process. I've sent various emails but none of them have been responded.

Worst experiences ever. Immigration attorneys are supposed to care or at least pretend to care. Treatment to me and my wife was demeaning, rude, and humiliating. None of our doubts were clarified and she clearly knows enough immigration stuff to care for Latino stars and rich dumb people. Looking at us over the shoulder every time. Our appointment was at 4 pm but we had to wait an extra 45 minutes. Everything was like "I don't know", "that's not possible", "I don't think so", and so on. Do not ever go there if you care about your money, dignity or well being.

Maite was incredible. We sent a bit of background about our possibly knotty case in the late evening. She got back to us the next morning, and scheduled for us to talk that same afternoon. And it took only a short conversation for her to untangle the facts and offer up solutions, with a budget and itemized services. She was upfront about the risks involved, which is always appreciated.

Maite Hoyos' services are outstanding. I recently contacted her to review an immigration case and have nothing but good things to say about her work. She was very professional, understanding, and committed. I recommend her work wholeheartedly.

I had a disappointing experience with Maite Hoyos. She arrived late to our appointment, chewing gum, and didn't show the best attitude. She seemed rushed while answering my questions and gave the impression that she wasn't genuinely interested in helping. Our conversation lasted only 20 minutes, yet I was charged $150 for what felt like dismissive and inattentive service. I would not recommend her based on my experience.

If you aren't famous or well known or just anybody honestly, Melanie Lopez won't treat you very nicely nor show that much interest. We had a consultation call and she seemed so uninterested and bored to talk to us. She kept interrupting, wouldn't let us finish asking our questions and whenever she talked it was in a rude and condescending tone. The call didn't last 10 minutes. Couldn't have sounded more disinterested. It was pretty much "talk to me when you have the documents you need for the visa, and THEN I'll show more interest and give my opinion if you're getting the visa or not and if I should even try". Lawyers are supposed to help you with getting documents or even tell you what and how to get them. She's very hard to even schedule an appointment with. We talk more with the secretary than her. She's made us waste so much time that could've been used to get the process done.

Disappointed in their services to say the least. CLEARLY if youre not an easy case for her or still need to build towards your case, she will not bother at all, she will take your $150 dollars though, to act like shes doing you a favor by gracing you with her presence. She told me she would look at my profile and provide feedback but never bothered to get back to me.
