  Upon paying my debt I called to follow up and each time I called I spoke to Maurice. He refused to identify himself with last name or any type of ID number and had a very nasty attitude and people in the background were laughing. This is a business and it was incredibly unprofessional I hope nobody hires this company to collect the debt. People are giving their money to them and this is how they act. Unfortunately you need to know the way things get transferred from company to company and he did not want to give me that information I need to call the creditor and let them know how the proof that I paid was going to be sent and unfortunately they did not provide that so I will be running around in circles calling each company every day until they have confirmation that it's been paid. It has been 37 days since I paid my debt I recommend to pay the credit company directly instead of dealing A quite unpleasant customer experience because at the end of the day I am still a customer who pays them and that pays their bills and their employees they should be grateful.

  I wish I could give them a 0! This is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with! Prior to them garnishing my wages I had reached out 5 separate times to settle this matter. No one ever responded. The judge even asked their lawyer why they didn't respond to me and he didn't have an answer. Now my wages are being garnished right before Christmas and no one can give me any information. The rep (Shawna) kept cutting me off while I was speaking so naturally I got louder. She tells me not to yell and that she will disconnect the call. First learn how to speak with people!

  Maurice has been really great to work with. Paying off debts can be really stressful but he was kind, accommodating, and I was able to negotiate a lower number to be paid in full. Thankful thats behind us and Maurice was who we got to work with.

  Horrible place, I can't even call them a firm. They claim they do not do anything by email. Is because they do not want people to have things to use against them? The judge stated for them to send over documents after our court date on the 24th I still have not received them. I called in because they never answered my email but the representative reviewed them while we were on the phone. He stated that there are no notes on the account. How is that? How is it that you don't know what is is going on but demand funds?

  Illinois is a two party consent state for being recorded. They claim they can record you but you aren't allowed to record their phone calls, which is very interesting. This shows their lack of integrity and fear of the law. No business that is operating honestly and without shady practices would claim that. If you speak to other law firms, they do not want to affiliate or represent anyone going against this firm since due to their poor reputation.

  I have no problem settling any debts owed, but when I called this place and left several voicemails to resolve these issues. I never got a response back. Now the amount being garnished is much higher than what I owe, and it's impossible to get a hold of them.
