Cons: poor communication. They advised I get medical information relevant to my SSDI case and send it to them. After I sent them information, I heard nothing. I was assued that someone would contact me. Today, 2 weeks after my appeal was due to be filed, I got a letter from them saying they won't be taking my case. Oh really? I figured that out on my own. Good thing I hired a different firm who actually wanted to help me.

I'm so grateful for the whole team that helped with my case. I had applied, been denied, appealed, and denied again for SSI at the point I brought my case to O'Connor Law. Ariana worked with me and on her own to get information needed. She got my medical files, explained every detail of the whole process of my SSI appeal, and answered all questions I had. Steven Yurkonis handled the hearing phenomenally. Beforehand, we had gone over my background, the details of my case, and discussed all of the things that were to come. Mary Kathleen was kind and helpful dealing with my case. She was thorough in questioning me, getting the initial information that was needed to put together the case. The whole time, I was well informed, openly and clearly communicated with, and treated with respect. I couldn't have asked for a better team to help me get a fully favorable decision! I'm forever grateful for the hard work everyone put in to this. Thank you all!

I was originally denied Social security disability payments for my diagnosed mental health conditions that I've been suffering from since around 2017. I applied for these benefits in June of 2025 and was denied three times due to my age; but I was awarded my back pay and monthly payments while I look for something new in August of 2026 and I owe that to the awesome folks at O'Connor law. If you have a physical or mental disability and need SSI and have been denied this is a good place to start. I believe they specialize in workmans comp as well but you'd have to ask them. Thanks guys!! Highly recommend
