In 2020 my father passed away. Matt Moore in the Oxford office of Mitchell and McNutt was amazing in regards to his estate. He handled it with compassion and care. Available to discuss and work with me and my sister to make that aspect as 'painless' and simple as possible. That would have been enough for 5 stars the but the story isn't over. Fast forward to 2026. My son has been diagnosed with liver failure and I am living 500 miles away in east central Texas. My son doesn't have insurance or the ability to get it and Medicare is going to take too long to help. My sister and I had been left land back in Mississippi. To afford him being placed quickly on the transplant list we needed to show 'proof of financial ability' to pay. A loan on the land in process would be enough. I rushed home on Sunday. Monday morning at 8:30 I was at the bank. After a round and round we needed to immediately move the land into our names. Within 24 hours, Tuesday at 8:47, Matt had completed the deed and by 11am we were were filling out the paperwork for the loan. It's not often, or even at all, that an attorney has possibly saved a life. This might be the only time. I can't thank Matt and his assistant Sterling Davis enough for EVERYTHING they did to make it happen. They will always be a part of the family. The hug and the prayers they offered were just a much needed bonus. If you need legal services, then you need to contact them NOW! 10 stars out of 5. Thank you Matt, thank you Ms Davis, and thank you Mitchell and McNutt!
