  So for the last 8 years i have been seeking an attorney that would be able to help me with a Step-Parent adoption. I finally was put into contact with Karen Oakes through a legal services plan that i have. Within the first week she had paperwork out to me for signatures, we signed everything and it was filed with the courts. All of it was very hands off on my end which was awesome. She called me to let me know that the adoption was signed by a judge a few weeks later (way earlier than initially anticipated) and it made my day.
