  not sure who exactly i spoke to but i called for a consultation in hopes for some guidance and/or advice for an issue im having with a dealership. the entire phone call felt belittling as i am a younger woman with inexperience involving dealership matters. i was met with smart allic responses and spoken to as if i was stupid essentially. im leaving a review because nobody should be spoken to like that or treated that way. i will not be contacting this lawfirm again.

  Honestly, this guy is an interesting fellow. I appreciated his candor and how brutally direct he was. He said out loud the kind of things most attorneys shy away from. Maybe a little too direct. After spending about 20 minutes giving me genuinely helpful advice, we realized my case was in a state he's not licensed in. He hit me with a quick, "Ah, wish I'd known that; good luck," *click*. I couldn't help but laugh. It was abrupt, but completely on-brand. Still giving 5 stars for the solid guidance.

  Paul DePetris of Pearlman, DePetris, Consumer Law LLC assisted me with a Lemon Law complaint against the Acura dealership where I had recently purchased a vehicle. Soon afterwards, I began having problems with the car which was highly unusual since this was my third time owning an Acura because of the high-quality vehicles and their exceptional customer service. I live in Philly so I searched for representation in New Jersey since the dealership was located in New Jersey. Fortunately, Mr. DePetris handled my case by going to the manufacturer to file a complaint against the dealership. It didn't take long for the case to be settled. I returned the car to the dealership and got every penny of my money back and more. Currently, I am dealing with a legal issue in New Jersey so the first firm that I thought of was Pearlman, Depetris, Consumer Law. Unfortunately, they could not be of service with this particular dispute however, they referred me to an attorney who possibly could. I appreciate their willingness to always be of assistance.   ☺️ Paul was honest about what he can and cannot do. He was the first attorney I spoke with here in NJ that was genuinely pleasant. He tried to find ways to save me money, and I would recommend. However, it's not 100% awesome. Yes, he is very willing to provide helpful advice up front on the phone, but their "some cases on contingency" description is misleading, as to Paul there are no such thing cases that you don't have to pay significantly up front for, and they won't work with you on the cost to make it affordable. Paul said this, that the minimum to do paperwork for you to self-represent is $800, and to hire is $3400.
