I am very grateful for the support I received from Alexis Mondares - Staff Attorney - Housing at the Public Law Center. She is an outstanding attorney knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated. Alexis took the time to listen carefully, explain everything clearly, and guide me through the process with patience and professionalism. Her hard work and commitment truly made a difference in my case, and I felt supported every step of the way. I highly recommend Alexis to anyone in need of housing legal assistance.

Attorney Hannah Poploskie and of course Attorney Walker are in fact 5 star attorneys. I have been represented and protected by this powerful organization for several years. It may take time to be seen and get in to the system but it's worth the wait . We are so fortunate in Orange County to have the PUBLIC LAW CENTER helping the vulnerable communities that need legal protections.

This law center is misleading. After waiting on hold for a significant amount of time, making an appointment, and providing information for an intake, I was told that I did not qualify for services, despite meeting all criteria. The worst thing was that they could not provide a reason as to why I was disqualified(?) I would have been able to accept being refused services, had I at least been provided with a reason. They just wasted my time through the process amidst already having a difficult situation to deal with.

My name is Shaun and unfortunately I have a lot of experience seeking an attorney. I contacted at least 200 different landlord tenant attorneys trying to get a roof leak fixed from 2020-2023. I also had a workers comp situation where my injury had unexpected complications and I lost 85 lbs. I retained an attorney in this situation. I got to sit down with Hannah Poplowvski in person and was blown away by her compassion, and professionalism. She truly listened. She cared. She took action. I'm realizing that socioeconomic barriers make it impossible for a low income tenant to request a repair. This must be so tough on Hannah for her to see day in and day out. My only caveat is the waiting time. It's a couple weeks at least and I think they fast tracked me a little because I'm a mental health case. I was unable to get a jury trial because I didn't request in time. (court will schedule trial in 4 days to deny jury) The thing that stands out most is that this amazing young lady spent more time with me as a pro bono attorney than my (payed) attorney did on retainer. If you compare this group to the Legal Aid Society it is filet mignon vs jack in the box. Thank you Hannah!
