  After months of review and changes, wee thought we had a thorough and updated employee handbook. However, after having the document reviewed by Sands Anderson, we found out just how inadequate it was. Now we have the confidence knowing that we have a handbook that is up to date with current law and best practices. Definitely would use them again. One thing to understand with respect to all lawyers and usually consulting firms if you are paying them by the hour. Every phone call, email dialogue, etc, will be charge the applicable amount of time (1/10th, .5, ect). This is NOT a negative comment, just the reality of the business.
