  It was a very difficult decision to file for bankruptcy because I really didn't want to walk away from my financial responsibilities. However, trying to live on social security alone made it virtually impossible for me to keep up with my bills. Mr. Slayton and his staff were non-judgmental and understood my situation. His staff moved quickly to send me the necessary paperwork and were there every step of the way. Mr. Slayton was very much involved as well and made sure that I understood the entire process. I highly recommend Slayton Law to anyone in a similar situation which is beyond daunting!

  Bankruptcy can be scary. For me, it was a last resort due to a business failure. I tried for over 18 months to work things out with creditors and neither of them were willing to budge. I contacted Marshall Slayton since his practice was somewhat close to me. At my first meeting with Marshall, I found him to be very reassuring but very honest with what I should expect. I appreciated that greatly. He and his staff were very professional throughout the entire process and I felt very confident in the information they supplied. I never felt like I was "bothering" them with my questions and replies to emails/voice messages were handled in a timely fashion. I would recommend Marshall and his staff highly to anyone who finds themselves in the unfortunate position of not having any other choice but filing bankruptcy.

  I had originally given a 4 star review for Slayton Law when I first started working with them. But now that I have had more experience with them I had to adjust my review. Their communication is terrible, they won't call back, email back, or if you call they won't connect you with the person you are calling to speak with. Bankruptcy is a stressful enough experience, and Slayton Law made in so much worse for me. The lack of care for me as a person was unmistakable. My experience with Slayton Law and the entire Bankruptcy process was awful. I would never recommend this firm to anyone.

  Mr. Slayton and his legal team assisted me through the whole bankruptcy process. My initial meeting with Mr. Slayton allowed me to determine my best option moving forward and what to expect.   Attorney Slayton was very supportive when I was very distressed over filing bankruptcy. I came to his office crying and he was patient and listened to me explain my situation. I left his office after my initial consultation feeling confident and reassured that Attorney Slayton was not just an attorney but a person of integrity. Attorney Slayton was polite, explained everything to me in detail, made sure he answered all my questions, and he was supportive of my legal decisions.   No one wants to admit they're in a financial mess and I was nervous before calling the Slayton Firm about bankruptcy options. But all that went away after talking with them. Marshall and his team are all top notch people who know what they're doing and guide you through each step of the process from gathering all the necessary paperwork to actually filing and then the hearings. They are with you every step of the way and even afterwards they are by your side to help with anything that might come up. I would definitely recommend the Slayton Law Firm to anyone I know.

They make you feel like ordinary people not lower class because you are having money issues. They explain everything in detail, also walk you through every step.
