This is currently a fair representation of the current RESULTS my family has received from Virginia Legal Aid Society. I hope this changes. But you were given a fair shot - failed - have your review. Still time to make it right - and I am making another call to you. Hopefully this changes - it'll be about how honest you treat my family now. Thank you.

VLAS is very limited as to what they can do if there's an adult child needing help but they don't call due to not realizing that they need help; although, everything they worked for their "BUSINESS OPERATION", included and acquired disappeared; and matters are worsening effecting family financially. Also, don't contact them if you're experiencing difficulty acquiring a Property Real Estate "DEED"; following fulfilling the requirements in Lynchburg, VA; particularly when you're melanated vs. non-melanated individuals. They'll copy your documents and that'll be the END of it. Therefore, I highly recommend "GOOGLE & THUMBTACK"; which is what I did; amen!

I have nothing but good things to say about the people that I came in contact with that work at this location. Gloria is a very nice woman, was always polite & courteous when I spoke with her. She always returned my phone calls in a timely matter when I would leave her a message, thanks Gloria. I had the pleasure of having Mr.Paul Robertson represent me with a case that I had & I ABSOLUTELY. think that he is just a WONDERFUL & CARING PERSON. He is the kindest, most patient person that I have had the experience to work with. Mr. Robertson always took the time to explain everything to me & to make sure that I understood what he was doing on my behalf, & he also listened to what I had to say. I feel as though he went ABOVE & BEYOND in helping me resolve my issues. Thank you so much Mr. Robertson for EVERYTHING! I would highly recommend this agency.

Do you people not answer the phone?? Also, I spoke to someone about a serious matter in my life I needed legal advice on... one person gave me a bunch of numbers to call that weren't able to help... the other woman said they dont help people with my kind of questions and concerns... which is so weird being this is a legal advice line.

Having problems with my landlord about sewage problems I had to go to their office and get all the paperwork and then go back and turn it in and they kept telling me they were coming even gave me a time and day and never showed up and this went on the whole time I was trying to get help and they never came out to look at what was happening and I never did get any help. Worthless organization in Lynchburg.

Extremely unprofessional and alarming experience with the intake staff and Senior Attorney Aditi Kulkarni at this branch. After traveling across town for an emergency housing interview, I discovered that staff had utilized office resources to run unauthorized Google Maps searches on my private residence prior to meeting me, using personal, classist biases regarding my neighborhood to premeditate a denial of service.Worse, immediately following the interview, Senior Attorney Kulkarni stood in an adjacent room and began loudly shouting my private case data, address specifics, and personal history. Her voice easily bypassed the interior doors, completely broadcasting my sensitive information to the public waiting room where other applicants were sitting. Managing Attorney Kristen Dowling was present, failed to supervise her staff, and attempted to downplay this explicit breach of client confidentiality under Virginia Bar Rule 1.6. A formal complaint has been escalated to federal oversight bodies and the state licensing board. Low-income citizens looking for help do not deserve to be mocked, researched outside the scope of their files, or have their private data publicly broadcasted.
