  I spoke with 19 other attorneys for a consultation on our second mortgage debt, to no avail. Edgar Hall called me after a 10 hour day and laid it out in an easy to understand and courteous manner.   Edgar is undoubtedly one of the best landlord tenant attorneys in Washington state. He knows the laws like the back of his hand and is able to quickly identify key points and issues by simply glancing through the relevant documents of a case. As a consumer protection attorney, his reputation precedes him in negotiations and in court. He aggressively campaigns for the rights of his clients and his word is taken seriously by any opposing party. I retained Edgar in a matter involving an unscrupulous landlord who was demanding $16,000 from me and threatening to send this fabricated amount to collections and cause it to appear on my credit report. Edgar swiftly wrote a letter to the opposing side, following which they deceased from sending the amount to collections and began to negotiate. A few weeks later, we settled the matter out of court for a settlement of $4000 which was an excellent result. In the overall accounting, I did not lose a single dollar in this matter. What is even more striking is that Edgar took care of this entire matter for the nominal fee of $300. I can only imagine what the other side (a large corporation) may have paid their attorney in fees. I do not have to emphasize that his aim is not to make money but to actually help his clients. In this commercial day and age, ethical consumer protection attorneys like Edgar are in sore need and short supply. Despite the many calls on his time, he has been able to help a large number of clients for nominal charges. He provides the highest quality of legal representation for extremely reasonable fees. I have no doubt that Edgar could generate much more revenue if he chose to, by working for large corporations rather than individual consumers, yet he chooses to protect individuals as a service to the community.   These folks are fantastic. The customer service is superb, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and familiar with debt law. Edgar Hall is there to help you. Period. Even with my own unique case, Edgar went out of his way to help me and keep me informed. Edgar's correspondence is always timely and courteous. At no point did I feel talked down to or like the conversation was above my head. Every question I asked he either had an immediate answer for, or got back to me quickly after researching my question.   Highly disappointed. I reached out to this firm regarding a case and initially received help getting out of the acceptance of service. Unfortunately, that is where their assistance stopped. Edgar expressed interest in possibly pursuing legal action against the company I was working with, which is the same company whose failure put me in this situation in the first place. After asking me to do additional homework and provide information, they never followed up or responded. The lack of communication and follow through was extremely unprofessional. Edited to respond to reply: I was never sent an invoice, that is a blatant lie. I have email correspondence that proves otherwise and that shows I was ignored after emailing twice.

  I called twice and the barracuda at the front desk wouldn't let me even set a consultation appt. I met the over 5k threshold but she didn't even ask. Would have gladly paid for a self settlement consult but Clearly this guy is only interested in big dollar settlements and not helping the regular folk.

  Edgar Hall is a magnificent human being and the best lawyer I've spoken to in my entire life. He's a charismatic, knowledgeable, and seasoned veteran who knows what he's doing. I had a very complicated case that happened to me. Every single firm I called told me they could not help me. I swear to God it was like it was out of a movie. I was staying up for days and days just calling and leaving people voicemails and scheduling consultations. The only answers I got were "There's nothing I can do for you" or "it's not a winnable case". I didn't even remember having an appointment scheduled with Edgar, but I remember answering that phone and hearing him riled up excited to tell me exactly how my landlord tenant issue was resolvable. He gave me hope in a time where I had none with a problem that at the time was extremely stressful and messing up my life. Edgar was there the whole way through, he did more than he even needed to, but that's how good of a person he is. He knows what he's doing and he knows how to win your case. I really can't say enough about him besides that he's beyond exceptional. Needless to say my case was resolved and there was a settlement. Thank you Edgar and much love!
