Steve Avery of Avery Elder Law is by far one of the most knowledgable, kind, and helpful attorneys I have ever worked with. He took a complex situation with our family and worked with ease and expediency. He provided a great deal of information so we could understand the ins and outs of trusts, wills, POAs, etc. His guidance was invaluable. If you get a chance to work with Steve, you will be well taken care of and well protected.

With only slightly over a week's notice, my husband learned he had to undergo heart surgery. No one is ever really prepared for this sort of news, but we were woefully unprepared to face possible medical issues given that our legal needs have been neglected for 30 years. We needed to update our Wills, create a family Trust, execute health directives and all the rest but felt it would be impossible to accomplish all these goals within our extremely small time-frame. Once we contacted Steve Avery, though, we started to believe in miracles. After our first consultation with Steve, the draft documents arrived almost immediately and were tailored specifically to the needs we discussed. During our second consult with Steve, all our questions and concerns were answered in a clear, concise and friendly manner. And thanks to Steve's amazing abilities and high sense of responsibility, all our documents were signed, notarized and filed three days before my husband's scheduled surgery. We will never be able to express sufficient gratitude to Steve for accommodating our seemingly impossible demands.

Steve helped my family and I with setting up our family trust and will. He also arranged, and recorded, the deed to put real estate into the trust. He was so extremely helpful and knowledgeable with everything. He walked us through every step and made my family and I feel reassured that our affairs are in order should something happen. I've referred him to a few friends already and would recommend him all day long. Thank you Steve!

We have worked with Steve many times and referred many happy friends and family to Steve to assist with wills, family estate planning, and durable power of attorney. Not only was Steve knowledgeable and thorough in explaining all the documents, and preparation, but very reasonably priced. After he helped my parents I also had him draft my documents. I feel so reassured knowing we have all the our affairs in order for my children in the event something might happen. I work in real estate and see too many times where people have not planned ahead and the proper people do not know the wishes for the heirs. It can get pretty messy. Thank you Steve for making sure this doesn't happen to my family.

Steve prepared my 'end of life' documents - will, directives, etc. He is a clear communicator explaining details and answering all questions. He is a professional who is easy-going and pleasant to work with. I am glad to have a relationship with a lawyer I can trust.
